We are looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to assist on residential remodeling projects while learning the trade. You will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters and crew leads, gaining skills in framing, trim, cabinetry, and more. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a good attitude, and at least two years of hands-on experience in construction or remodeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition, framing, trim work, and finish carpentry tasks
• Help with measuring, cutting, and installing materials
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
• Follow safety guidelines and job site protocols
• Learn from and support lead carpenters and supervisors
• Communicate clearly and ask questions when guidance is needed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in residential remodeling or construction
• Willingness to learn and take direction with a positive attitude
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation are preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor on-site
• Strong work ethic and commitment to craftsmanship
• Comfortable commuting up to 45 to 50 minutes from Lake Zurich, IL
